From Stage to School – A Musical Journey Since 1998

Madhumita Chakraborty is a passionate music teacher, performer, and playback singer whose journey began in 1998 with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Voice of India. She trained under legendary maestros like Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty and Santanu Bandhopadhyay, building a strong foundation in Hindustani Classical Music.
A graduate in B. Muse (Music) from Rabindra Bharati University, Madhumita has performed for over a decade with legends such as Bappi Lahiri (11 years), KK, and Kavita Krishnamurti.
With Giti Alekhya Music Academy, established in 5th April 2017, she now nurtures aspiring musicians through personalized and structured music education—bringing classical tradition and modern creativity together.
